30. October 2008
On Friday 24th October more than 250 guests visited the location Ryttervangen 24 in Give and celebrated the opening of Kemic Water Techonology’s new production facilities.
From 13 o’clock the guests started to arrive, not only from Denmark but also representatives from Kemic’s most important business partners in Latvia showed up for the celebration in Give.
By the end of the day more than 250 customers and business relations had dropped by to congratulate and celebrate the beginning of a new era in Kemic’s history which started 50 years ago in Blåhøj.
”We are happy and proud to celebrate this event together with you and I would also take the opportunity of thanking all of you who have been involved and made this project possible” – said Director Henrik Nybro Laugesen when he made his welcome speech in Kemic’s new production facilities.
”Kemic has delivered many plants during the last 50 years, but one of the plants is worth mentioning in 2008. It’s the filter plant that we delivered to Farum Waterworks in 2006. Farum Waterworks has just been selected the winner of the best water quality in Denmark. Today, Farum Waterworks is represented by Jørn Due and we are very happy to see you here today” - Henrik Nybro Laugesen said to all the guests surrounded by pressure filter tanks in all dimensions in the new production hall which was nicely decorated with chairs, tables and a delicious buffet.
A soft ice machine including all kinds of topping was a hit among the kids and people with a sweet tooth and in the warehouse – sheltered for the rain – the barbecue was busy. During the day more than 60 pork chops – 4 roasted pork, 40 tenderloins, 25 lamb chops, 10 big steaks and a lot of sausages were barbecued. This was served with baked potatoes, salads, beer, wine and water – so no one left the table hungry.
“We must admit that we are more than overwhelmed by this enormous interested showed by our customers and business relations today during our opening reception. More than 250 people have visited us and it’s very positive to experience that they are interested in the products we offer” – Ellen Hausted Laugesen, who took over the company in 2005 together with her husband, Henrik Nybro Laugesen explains.
”With the opening of our new production facility in Give, we also mark that Kemic Water Technology in the future will be a modern company with a unique know-how and experience within clean drinking water and it is our goal that Kemic Water Technology will lead the way when it come to water treatment, satisfied customers and not least good business partners” – Henrik Nybro Laugesen says.
